Buffalo Chicken Dip

A definite fave!  I make this to bring to just about every party I'm invited to.  It can also be done in an oven .... but why would you when everything comes out so good in a Crock Pot :)

Ingredients:
  • 1 large can chicken breast  *Normally I don't care for any kind of canned food, but it's just the easy way to make this.  If you have some cooked, shredded chicken breast laying around, by all means use that
  • 8 oz softened cream cheese
  • 8 oz blue cheese dressing
  • 1 cup of cheddar cheese *I always end up using more, but figured 1 cup is a good place to start
  • 6 oz hot sauce *more or less, depending on how HOT you like it
Spray the Crock Pot with cooking spray.  Shred the chicken, add to the CP.  Mix in the cream cheese, blue cheese dressing, cheddar cheese and hot sauce until combined well.  Cook on Low.  It's usually done in about an hour, then I switch to the *keep warm* setting.  You could keep it on Low for longer than an hour, just watch for burning.  You can dip anything you like in this .... celery, tortilla chips, crackers, crusty bread.  Or be like me, and eat it right out of the Crock Pot.
